Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens in Denver, CO is seeking a Full Time Venue Sales Representative in the Events Department to coordinate private and internal events from inquiry to completion. You will sell short lead time venue rentals, prepare contracts, arrange floor plans and AV, and serve as the on-site liaison with clients, vendors, and Gardens staff.

Evening and weekend work may be required; you must have strong MS Office skills and experience in event sales, planning, and execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years in an events setting preferred.
• Proven experience in event sales and execution.
• Able to learn complex software systems quickly (CVENT, DocuSign, Caterease).
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell short lead time venue rentals and event packages, coordinating execution.
• Assist with account management, contracts, and achieving sales goals.
• Coordinate floor plans, AV services, catering, and event setup.
• Serve as on-site venue representative and ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide phone and in-person support, including payments and paperwork.
