Overview

The primary focus of this position is to assist customers with greenhouse purchases and maintain all greenhouse products. The Garden Center Clerk ensures the health of plants, prepares soil conditions, maintains flowers, trees, and shrubs, prunes as necessary, sprays to prevent disease and pests, and arranges plants and flowers for sale. This individual also assists customers, provides recommendations, and operates a cash register, all while creating a friendly shopping environment.
