Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Garde Manger Supervisor for our Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. You will lead cold presentations, plan menus, and develop recipes while coordinating with chefs for events and banquets.

The role requires 2–3 years of culinary experience in hotels or resorts, strong communication, and excellent organization to manage production and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years culinary experience in hotel, resort or cruise ship.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to diverse audiences.
• Must be very organized with strong kitchen organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates garde manger activities for appetizers and cold presentations.
• Plans production, maintains records, and develops recipes for garde manger staff.
• Coordinates with Executive/Sous Chefs for events and menu requirements.
• Ensures health and safety standards are followed and trains staff daily.
