Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Maintenance, Facility Maintenance (Driving) professional in Detroit to perform day-to-day maintenance across multiple parking garages and lots. The role focuses on safety, functionality, and presentable facilities, with an hourly pay of $20.00 and a full-time shift.

A Parking Attendant License is required and a valid driver's license is essential. Responsibilities include patching surfaces, light plumbing, painting, door/lock maintenance, and general fix-it tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must know how to run pressure washing equipment (hot/cold).
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Occasional 2nd/3rd shift or weekend availability may be required.
• Must be able to read and follow safety instructions and write simple memos.

Responsibilities

• Patch concrete and asphalt to keep surfaces safe for driving and walking.
• Perform light plumbing repairs (faucets, drains, leaks).
• Paint walls, curbs, bollards, and touch-ups as needed.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, and hardware.
• Handle general fix-it tasks: carpentry, signage, and minor equipment adjustments.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance including salt spreading and light shoveling.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and respond to service requests promptly.
• Use hand tools and small power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and address safety hazards.
