Allied Overhead Door, a Nolensville-based garage door company with 20+ years of experience, is hiring a Garage Door Technician. You will install, repair, and maintain residential doors, using hand and power tools, with comprehensive on-the-job training.

Starting pay $20–$24 per hour, with overtime opportunities and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with 50% match, HSA, paid time off, and a company phone.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and operating systems.
• Respond to service calls to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Repair components such as springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, and openers.
• Install new doors and related hardware and perform safety inspections.
• Provide estimates, explain options, and deliver professional customer service.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle; complete tickets and documentation.
• Travel to residential locations within the surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and garage door operating systems.
• Respond to homeowner service calls to diagnose and troubleshoot garage door issues.
• Repair and replace garage door components, including springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, and openers.
• Install new garage doors, garage door openers, and related hardware.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure garage doors operate safely and efficiently.
• Identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Explain repair options, provide estimates, and answer homeowner questions.
• Deliver professional, friendly customer service while representing Allied Overhead Door.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle inventory.
• Complete service tickets, work orders, and other job documentation accurately.
• Follow proper safety procedures when working with garage door springs, cables, and heavy equipment.
• Travel to residential customer locations throughout the surrounding area to complete installations and service calls.
