Job summary

Higgins Overhead Door LLC in Crown Point, IN seeks an outside sales/estimator to join our team. You will meet customers in the office or in the field to provide field measurements and consultations.

Responsibilities include selling doors and operators across residential, commercial, and industrial markets, reading blueprints, and developing new business leads. Competitive base pay plus commission with incentives is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on, in-the-field experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields in a non-sales role.
• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience in construction or related fields.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, job manuals, and contracts.
• Accurate measuring using tape or laser tools.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.
• Proficient with sales, FSM, and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Sell overhead doors and operators to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Answer sales inquiries via calls and emails and provide product information.
• Develop knowledge of current, future, and competitor product offerings.
• Meet customers in office or on site for measurements and consultations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, contracts, and manuals.
• Convert leads into sales and manage follow-ups through CRM and FSM.
• Provide accurate measurements and quotes.
• Deliver sales reports to management as required.
