Job summary

Dot Foods, Inc. in Bear, Delaware seeks a hands-on administrative associate to support garage operations. You will manage phone calls, assist with period-end close, prepare Excel spreadsheets, and handle data entry for invoices and repairs.

• Assist with period-end closing

• Posting, reporting and data collection within our truck and trailer maintenance programs
• Data entry and coding of invoices and repair orders
• Print and post miles/fuel
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
• Pick up and return parts and supplies from various vendors
• Safe operation of equipment and vehicles
• Control accurate inventory processes, ordering, receiving, cycle counting, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL DO

YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree
• Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to work in a busy garage environment

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Administrative/Clerical experience preferred
• Priorparts ordering and inventory auditing experienceEffective professional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in both team and independent settings
• Automotive industry experience
• Good organizational skills
