Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a GaN Process Integration Engineer to join the SMFAB team in Sherman, TX. You will drive integration and development for GaN technology nodes, interfacing with ATD, Process, Product, Quality and Manufacturing groups to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will own parametric performance improvements, run design of experiments, analyze data, and lead cross-functional efforts to transfer and qualify new processes for high-volume production, delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelors in EE, Chemical, Material Science Engineering or semiconductor specific: solid state physics, applied physics or quantum mechanics.
• 2 years GaN or compound semiconductor experience in process integration and device
• Experience with process integration, DOE planning, electrical characterization, and failure analysis
• Proven ability to plan, drive schedules, meet deadlines on multiple tasks, lead technical discussions, and collaborate across organizational boundaries
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor processing, III-V materials
• Familiarity with GaN-on-Silicon technology for power switching applications
• Experience with fab tools and process modules/Integration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

• Plan effectively and drive schedules across multiple tasks in parallel
• Lead technical discussions in their area of expertise
• Interface with multiple organizations to achieve goals
• Improve parametric performance and Cpk for GaN technology nodes
• Develop and review product flow, short flow and test chip development
• Collaborate with RET team to validate OPC and improvements
• Transfer, qualification, and manufacturing of GaN technology nodes
• Identify and optimize process performance to meet device parameters
