Job summary

GameStop in Louisville is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead a team, promote a sales culture, and ensure an outstanding guest experience through product knowledge and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include overseeing POS transactions, inventory, merchandising, and compliance, while growing guest loyalty and sales. Prior retail management and game knowledge are preferred, with a focus on excellent customer

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor's degree in business/marketing/related field preferred.
• Retail management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and promote sales.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in absence of Store Manager.
• Manage POS transactions, returns, and receipts accurately.
• Oversee daily store operations, merchandising, and inventory.
• Support scheduling, training, and policy compliance.
• Uphold company policies and code of conduct.
