Job summary

GameStop in Georgia is seeking a Store Manager responsible for all facets of store operations and delivering outstanding guest service. You will lead a retail team, manage POS and inventory, and execute promotions while ensuring a clean, organized store environment aligned with company standards.

Lead scheduling, payroll, training, and loss prevention; drive sales, profits, and guest loyalty through proactive engagement and knowledge sharing about gaming products and services.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Store Manager will manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service: greet guests, address questions, promote promotions, and thank guests.
• Support the total shopping environment, including visual and operational elements and current sales initiatives.
• Promptly process guest purchases/returns using POS system and ensure top guest service.
• Recruit, interview, hire, assess, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance are completed prior to opening or closing shifts.
• Schedule staff, supervise, and ensure optimal guest service levels.
• Approve payroll and time off; verify pay.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines.
• Lead the team to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete admin duties.
