Job summary

Seminole Gaming is seeking a Security Officer to provide coverage across the property under the direction of Security Department supervisors. The role focuses on protecting patrons, team members, and assets while maintaining a friendly, guest-oriented demeanor.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of guest service experience, and the ability to obtain all required licenses. CPR/AED certification and background checks are standard requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year of security related experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/AED certificate and pass Blood Borne Pathogen training.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security throughout the entire property.
• Responsible for the security and safety of patrons and employees during assigned shift.
• Safeguards Company assets during shift times.
• Prepare detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
• Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values.
• Enforces policies and procedures as they apply to Internal Controls and Gaming Regulations during shifts.
• Assists in the event of an emergency.
• Assist patrons with inquiries and provide information about property and events.
• Perform work regularly and adhere to all regulations.
