Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations in Minnesota. You will help drive sales, coach staff, and ensure an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership in a retail setting, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will manage daily tasks, scheduling, and store standards while promoting loyalty programs and promotions.

Qualifications

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests; respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Support the store environment and current sales initiatives to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system.
• Elevate customer issues to the Store Manager when needed.
• Promote guest benefits like reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards.
