Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store 7816) in Princeton, TX to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations.

You will lead guest service initiatives, drive sales, manage a team of sales associates, and ensure store standards, inventory control, and event promotions are executed daily. The role requires prior retail management or supervisory experience, strong English communication, and a passion for gaming.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support store environment, visual and operational elements, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS system.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Supervise sales associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Manage inventory, cash handling, and banking deposits.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily.
