Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Supervisor to join the Finance Consulting practice with a focus on Gaming and Hospitality Financial Advisory. The role involves leading technical accounting services, process improvements, and advisory projects for casino gaming and hospitality clients nationwide.

You will manage staff on engagements, develop client relationships, and help drive profitability analytics and cash management initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years in business or 4+ years in public accounting/consulting with emphasis in casino/hospitality accounting/operations a plus.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong internal control skills and experience in developing and improving internal control systems.
• Strong technical and functional accounting experience in US GAAP and/or IFRS with financial reporting, and hands-on support and research for technical accounting matters with AJE and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to manage staff on projects of varying sizes and to develop and retain talent.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to build effective relationships with business associates and industry groups, including strong presentation and rapport skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 75-80%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting and accounting support to business operations.
• Lead business process improvement and internal controls assessments.
• Advisory projects such as organizational structure analysis, profit enhancement, cash management, and profitability analysis studies.
• Process improvement and policy/documentation of procedures.
• Primary clients are gaming entities nationwide, including large casinos and resorts.
• Coordinate development and execution of consulting work plans and client deliverables.
• Understand client business and industry, identify key performance drivers and trends.
• Lead engagement fieldwork, monitor productivity and adherence to schedules, and resolve client challenges.
