Job summary

Light & Wonder seeks an on-site Field Service Technician in Buffalo, NY to perform preventative maintenance on VLTs and ETGs, ensure operation, and support installations. The role requires basic electronics knowledge, ability to lift 50 lbs, and good troubleshooting skills. Travel to other facilities may be required and safety standards must be followed.

The position offers competitiveness with hourly pay and benefits; a valid driver’s license and gaming licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with valid driver's license and ability to obtain gaming licenses as required.
• 1 year experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices or 6 months plus related schooling.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
• Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on VLTs, ETGs, and related equipment per Gaming Commission and company standards.
• Ensure proper operation of VLTs/ETGs via diagnostics, software settings, and testing.
• Navigate Management Terminal to verify VLT status.
• Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order.
• Complete accurate incident and maintenance reports and logs.
• Follow Field Service standards, safety procedures, and tool/equipment maintenance.
• Stay current with Field Advisories and eLearning; review issues with management/tech lead.
