Job summary

The North Dakota Office of the Attorney General, Gaming Division, located at the State Capitol in Bismarck, seeks an Auditor to perform audits and compliance reviews of gaming activity involving licensed organizations, distributors, and manufacturers.

You will determine that receipts, controls, and expenditures of gaming funds are accurate and compliant with law, participate in on-site observations, and assist in hearings and civil cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or Business or equivalent.
• Associate's degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma with 4+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of PC use including spreadsheet and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting financial and compliance audits and training of gaming organizations and distributors.
• Conduct on-site observations of gaming activity and participate in on-site games to determine compliance.
• Assist with pre-audit and post-audit conferences and prepare preliminary audit reports.
