ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a lead resource on the gaming floor, providing direction and support to Gaming Attendants during assigned shifts.

Assist with onboarding and on-the-job training of new Gaming Attendants.

Act as a point of escalation for guest service issues or operational concerns, involving management as appropriate.

Model professional behavior, compliance, and exceptional customer service at all times.

Work closely with Gaming Attendants, security, and hospitality teams to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding staffing needs, guest concerns, or operational challenges.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support gaming operations

Guest Experience & Floor Operations

Greet patrons warmly, assist with game rules and machine operations, and address inquiries or concerns to enhance the guest experience.

Promote responsible gaming practices and ensure a welcoming, safe environment for all patrons.

Regularly inspect gaming machines for proper functionality.

Perform minor troubleshooting and promptly report malfunctions or concerns to maintenance or management.

Coordinate with technicians and supervisors regarding machine issues when necessary.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gaming floor environment.

Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure machines and surrounding areas meet operational standards.

Compliance & Cash Handling

Ensure all gaming activities comply with local, state (Kentucky Gaming Commission), and federal gaming regulations.

Verify patron eligibility, including age verification, and follow all regulatory and company policies.

Support compliance documentation and reporting as required.

Accurately handle cash transactions, process payouts, and maintain balanced cash drawers.

Assist with resolving cash discrepancies and report issues to management promptly.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Prior experience as a Gaming Attendant or in a customer service–focused role preferred.

Experience in a gaming or regulated environment is a plus.

Must obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses or certifications as mandated by local or state authorities (e.g., Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Commission).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may be required to sit. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.

Environment: The noise level in the office is moderately quiet. When working on the gaming floor, the noise level may be loud, and the employee may be exposed to cigarette smoke.

Work Hours: Based on the gaming establishment's operational hours, this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
