Overview

Dave & Buster’s is a dynamic entertainment venue where guests enjoy food, drinks, and a variety of arcade games. The role of a Gaming Support Technician (or Midway Technician) is to maintain and repair the gaming and technical equipment while ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain games, simulators, and technical equipment in the Midway.
• Assist guests, answering questions, making game recommendations, and resolving issues in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Load and refill tickets in redemption games, ensuring proper ticket storage.
• Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct inventory and restock supplies.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness of games and surrounding areas, setting up displays to promote sales.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed.
• Assist in general store and tech‑room maintenance and support other team members.
• Communicate promptly with supervisory staff regarding problems or unusual matters.
• Ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and ready for guests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Good communication skills with guests and team members.
• Technical or electrical experience preferred (not required).
• Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read and write handwritten notes.

Physical Demands

Regular requirements include working on an extension ladder, standing and walking throughout the facility, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, and operating in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with occasional distractions.

Salary Range

$14.00 – $19.00 per hour.
