Job Overview

The Gaming Support Tech (Midway Tech) role involves repair and maintenance of building equipment, games, simulators, and technical equipment while servicing guests. Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain games, simulators, and technical equipment.
• Assist guests and ensure ideal player conditions at the midway.
• Provide timely and accurate service while managing wait times and communicating information to guests, team members, and managers.
• Greets guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions.
• Perform repairs and upkeep of amusement equipment promptly.
• Load and refill tickets in redemption games, securing storage areas.
• Assist guests with requests, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Bid farewell to guests upon leaving, ensuring satisfaction and inviting return visits.
• Notify manager of any unhappy guest.
• Stock, display, secure merchandise, conduct inventory, and restock supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of midway games and game areas.
• Set up displays to increase guest traffic and promote sales.
• Assist in daily maintenance of the tech room and storage areas.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist with general store maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate that promotes morale, productivity, and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must demonstrate clear communication skills with guests and team members.
• Technical or electrical skills preferred but not required.
• Friendly and able to smile frequently while working days, nights, and/or weekends.

Physical Demands

• Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
• Work off an extension ladder.
• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time.
• Read and write handwritten notes.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
