Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Game Lands program seeks a Maintenance Worker 1 to perform semi-skilled tasks and assist with duties in the field. The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch, totaling 40 hours weekly; after a one-year probation, promotion to Worker 2 with higher responsibilities and pay occurs.

As Worker 1 you will gain experience with construction and farming tasks, with eligibility for an active PA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment.
• One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment.
• One year of construction equipment experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled work and assist with other duties as a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1.
• Progress to full journey-level maintenance and trades-related work as a Game Lands Maintenance Worker 2 after promotion.
