Valmont Group in Valley, Nebraska is hiring a Chemical Process Tank Technician A (ARS Operator A) on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.). You will monitor galvanizing equipment and fluids, adjust flow rates, and perform related maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of high-quality galvanized products.

Responsibilities include acid handling, maintaining fluid levels and temperatures, and operating auxiliary systems like RO and MZR under supervision.

Qualificações

• No Degree
• 0–1 year of relevant experience
• Exposure to sulfuric acid
• Able to operate forklift and use hand tools, drills, saws, and pneumatic tools
• Overtime: 1–2 shifts per week
• Must wear respirator PPE and pass fit test
• Stand/walk up to 95% of shift; lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong safety awareness and ability to report issues
• Basic math and reading simple charts/diagrams

Responsabilidades

• Monitor galvanized equipment and fluids; adjust flow rates
• Add acid; maintain fluid levels and temperatures
• Monitor RO system and add nickel/albumin to kettle
• Perform minor maintenance on galvanizing tanks
• Operate MZR machine under supervision
• Assist with material handling and general plant cleanup
• Maintain logs and ensure safety practices
