Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, Nebraska is seeking a Chemical Process Tank Technician A (ARS Operator A) to monitor galvanizing equipment and fluids, adjust flow rates, and ensure safe operation.

You will add acids, monitor crystal formation, and perform minor maintenance under supervision during 2nd shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.). The role requires safe handling of sulfuric acid, respirator use, and ability to operate forklifts and hand/power tools.

Formación

• No degree required; 0–1 year of relevant experience
• Must be able to work with sulfuric acid exposure
• Able to operate forklift and hand/power tools
• Must wear respirator and PPE as required
• Read and interpret simple charts, tables, flow diagrams
• Stand/walk up to 95% of shift; lift up to 50 lb (frequent up to 20 lb)
• Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers

Responsabilidades

• Monitor galvanizing equipment and fluids; adjust flow rates
• Add acid; maintain fluid levels and temperatures in tanks
• Add nickel and albumin; monitor the RO system
• Perform minor maintenance on galvanizing tanks and operate the MZR machine
• Assist with material handling, loading crystal trailer and general plant cleanup
• Maintain logs and follow safety procedures; wear PPE as required
• Report problems to supervision and participate in housekeeping tasks
