Job summary

Valmont Industries seeks a dependable Chemical Process Tank Technician A to monitor galvanizing equipment, adjust flow, manage acids, and maintain tank fluids and temperatures. You will support MZR operations, RO systems, and routine maintenance while logging activities and upholding strict safety standards.

Requirements include no degree, 0–1 year of related experience, ability to work overtime, and respirator PPE.

Qualifications

• No Degree
• 0–1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to work with sulfuric acid and hazardous substances
• Able to operate forklift and hand/power tools
• Overtime up to 2 shifts per week
• Must wear respirator PPE and pass OSHA respirator fit test

Responsibilities

• Monitor galvanized equipment and adjust flow rates.
• Add acid and maintain fluid levels and temperatures in processing tanks.
• Operate the MZR machine and RO system.
• Perform minor maintenance on galvanizing tanks and support equipment.
• Maintain logs and housekeeping in the plant.
• Communicate issues to supervision and follow safety procedures.
