Job summary

OSM Thome is seeking a motivated Galley Attendant to support the Food Operations team. You will maintain cleanliness and organization of the galley, ensure utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use, and assist chefs as needed.

Ideal candidates are energetic, with a strong work ethic, fluent English, able to lift 60 lbs, and eager to grow within hospitality. Prior utility or cleaning experience in food service is valued, and candidates must be at least 21.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Fluency in conversational English.
• Physically strong and able to lift at least 60 lbs.
• Able to perform physically demanding work for up to 9 months at a time.
• At least 1 year of experience as a utility worker or cleaner within the food industry.
• At least 21 years old.
• Strong desire to grow and progress in your career.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and all other galley utensils.
• Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean kitchen machines, work areas, and equipment to the highest hygiene standards.
• Handle and dispose of chemicals and food waste appropriately.
• Support chefs and kitchen teams with additional assigned duties.
• Participate in all scheduled safety drills and training sessions.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of busy food outlets to support excellent guest service.
