Job summary

Bookmans Entertainment Exchange in Phoenix seeks a part-time Gallery Department Staffer to help create a welcoming, customer-focused store atmosphere. The role involves assisting customers, buying, processing and merchandising gallery merchandise, and supporting trade counter activities.

Responsibilities include stocking, pricing, and organizing housewares, toys and jewelry; using reference materials as needed; and collaborating with Gallery Department Supervisor and store management.

Bookmans Entertainment Exchange has been serving Arizona communities for nearly 50 years. Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading and promoting a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance. To apply knowledge of housewares, toys, and jewelry products to buying, processing, and selling; continuously incorporating positive customer focused strategies. Staff prices, sorts, stocks, and merchandise all areas of the department, as well as works at the Incoming Merchandise/Trade counter buying and pricing merchandise.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Customer Service requires patience, kindness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities and customer needs.

This position is part-time (less than 30 hours per week).
