Shively Diversified Management Services seeks a meticulous Gage/Quality Technician to manage gages in automotive manufacturing. You will calibrate, track, and analyze gage performance, collaborating with quality engineers to maintain compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include documenting calibration activities, performing correlation studies, and troubleshooting measurement devices to minimize downtime while supporting continuous improvement in accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality technician role, automotive manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient in using and calibrating gages and measurement devices.
• Strong understanding of gage correlation studies and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track all gages used in manufacturing, ensuring calibration.
• Conduct regular gage calibration and maintain calibration records.
• Perform gage correlation studies to ensure measurement consistency across gages.
• Collaborate with quality engineers to ensure gages meet standards.
• Maintain detailed records of calibration, maintenance, and studies.
• Troubleshoot gages and measurement devices to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all gages comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
