Job summary

SHIVELY DIVERSIFIED MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC is seeking a diligent Gage/Quality Technician to support automotive manufacturing. You will manage gages, calibrate devices, and perform correlation studies in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will collaborate with quality engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Background checks and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree can be preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a quality technician in automotive manufacturing.
• Proficient in using and calibrating gages and measurement devices.
• Strong understanding of gage correlation studies and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication with quality engineers and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Gage Management: Maintain and track all gages used in manufacturing and ensure calibration.
• Gage Calibration: Conduct regular gage calibration and maintain calibration records.
• Gage Correlation Studies: Perform gage correlation studies for consistency across gages.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality engineers to meet standards and specs.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of calibration, maintenance, and studies.
• Troubleshooting: Address gage issues to minimize downtime.
