Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Apopka, FL is offering a GaAs/GaN Design Intern position within the BAW Research & Development Internship track.

You will work on topology analysis, filter layout with BAW, and full-module simulations under the Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) group, contributing to cutting-edge RF devices. Ideal candidates are pursuing MS/PhD in EE or Physics, with RF circuit design coursework and experience in HFSS/ADS/AWR, strong analytical skills, and GPA 3.0 or higher.

Competenze

• Pursuing MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Completed some course work in RF/Microwave circuit design.
• Experience with electromagnetic/RF simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, AWR etc.).
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiar with RF measurement and its equipment: spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Skyworks' BAW Research & Development Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities

Required Experience and Skills

• Pursuing MS/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Completed some course work in RF/Microwave circuit design
• Experience with electromagnetic/RF simulation tools (HFSS, ADS, AWR etc.)
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
• Familiar with RF measurement and its equipment: spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Desired Experience and Skills

• Experience with filter design, impedance matching, or RF packaging is desired

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
