Job summary

Wolfe Research, LLC is seeking a mid-level accounting professional to lead the conversion of cash-basis books to GAAP/Tax-compliant financials and to manage ongoing GAAP/Tax accounting operations. You will work with senior leadership and external tax advisors, researching GAAP guidance, reporting to the Director of Accounting/Controller.

This role requires 3 days in the office. 3 days in the office required; CPA preferred; 5–8 years US GAAP experience; NetSuite and Excel proficiency; strong

Qualifications

• 5–8 years US GAAP accounting experience; public and private preferred.
• Familiarity with researching and applying US GAAP to transactions and reporting.
• Partnership income tax experience helpful.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cash-basis to accrual GAAP/Tax conversion, including restatements.
• Establish policies, procedures, internal controls, and reconciliations per GAAP/Tax.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and external auditors on filings and guidance.
• Oversee month-end/year-end close, journal entries, and financial statements.
• Support due diligence, ERP upgrades, and KPI reporting for leadership.
