Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. The role oversees external reporting, supports SEC compliance, researches complex accounting matters, and ensures U.S. GAAP adherence in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has public accounting and/or public company reporting experience, with a strong foundation in financial reporting processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Research and document accounting conclusions related to complex and non-routine transactions.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Evaluate accounting implications of business initiatives, contracts, and transactions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Support and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to accounting policy development, process improvements, and reporting efficiencies.
