Job summary

Progressive is seeking an accounting financial reporting specialist in a hybrid role based in Mayfield Village, Ohio. You will perform GAAP and SEC financial reporting, prepare schedules for 8-Ks, 10-Qs and 10-Ks, and keep policies up to date.

The role requires strong communication, analytical capabilities and adherence to SOX controls. You will work on the GAAP Financial Reporting team and contribute to accurate, compliant financial reporting across the company with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with quarterly and year-end financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform GAAP and SEC financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statement schedules for 8-Ks, 10-Qs, 10-Ks.
• Monitor FASB/SEC changes and maintain SOX-compliant reporting.
• Update accounting policies and procedures as needed.
