Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Spring, TX is seeking a Technical Accounting Analyst to lead technical accounting research, develop position papers, and support the finance organization in complex accounting matters.

You will drive GAAP/SEC issue monitoring, assist with quarterly close, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and policy documentation.

Proficiency with SAP or ERP systems and excellent communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• 5–8 years combined experience in technical accounting.
• Experience with Big-4 or multinational controllership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and prepare position papers.
• Support finance teams with research, analysis, and documentation.
• Ensure quarterly contingency and one-time reporting is completed accurately.
• Benchmark and monitor new GAAP, SEC, and disclosure issues.
• Coordinate with departments to provide vetted financial information.
• Draft and update AFM accounting policies and memos.
