Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter is seeking passionate individuals to join our part-time team for a play-based curriculum. You will plan age-appropriate activities, assist in daily care, and communicate with parents through our Classroom Management system.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED; TCC; CDA.
• Previous 2–3 years of childcare experience.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities to promote development under supervision.
• Prepare children for kindergarten by guiding transitions from infancy to school age.
• Assist in daily care including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
• Maintain interactive communication with parents and team members using the Classroom Management system.

What you bring as a Team Member:

All Assistant Teachers are expected to plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children with the oversight of a senior team member. You will prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using the provided curriculum. You will also assist in daily care such as feeding, changing, and nap time. You will maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system.

Requirements:

Pay: $17.00 Hour based on Region, education and experience
