Job summary

The Sunshine House in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a GA Pre K Lead Teacher to implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum and help prepare our children for kindergarten. You will foster relationships with students and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment in collaboration with a supportive team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a Georgia teaching certificate with degree.

Qualifications

• Georgia Certified Teacher preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
• Previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required.
• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for child safety and emergencies.

Compensation & Pay Range

Starting base salary: $41,717+ for Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Starting base salary: $65,000+ for Teaching Certificate AND Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Compensation listed above is based on the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning Salary Schedule.
