Job summary

Qualifications

• Understand both English and metric lineal measurements.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• May need to handle hazardous material and take appropriate training to do so.
• High School or better.
• Manufacturing or Related field experience.
• Wood working or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review outgoing DO's hand-off and handle email correspondence
• Communicate with all Heian Operators and KVAL regarding tool changes/startup issues
• Generate Hardware pile reports, identify doors to be processed and deliver to DET Outfeed
• Assist all Heian area operators when necessary
• Conduct tooling changes/adjustments as needed on all Heian machines
• Clean tool holder in tooling room
• Setup bit in tooling room
• Manage hour-by-hour "white boards" with operators
• Complete various paperwork, charts, and spreadsheets
• Assist operators with troubleshooting
• Complete shut-down activities
• All other tasks assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead
