Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. is seeking a production worker for our Georgia facility. The role involves manual handling, loading and unloading items from machines and conveyors, and assisting with machine operation to support the production process.

Responsibilities include placing products for processing, inspecting for quality conformance, starting equipment, and reporting any malfunctions. You will also handle packaging, sorting, labeling and data recording as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Heavy lifting and manual handling of materials.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors and conveyances.
• Operate or assist in operating machinery used in production processes.
• Place products in equipment or on surfaces for further processing, inspection or wrapping.
• Inspect products to verify quality conformance.
• Start machines or equipment to begin production.
• Observe equipment to detect malfunctions and report them.
• Remove products, machine parts, or waste from machines.
• Move finished products, materials and tools between storage and work areas by hand or with hoists/cart.
• Pack and store materials and products.
• Count finished products to confirm orders are complete.
• Measure product amounts, lengths or weights to meet specs.
• Mark or tag identification on parts.
• Tie products for processing or shipment following procedures.
• Record data such as counts, meter readings and times of production.
