Job summary

VT Industries, Inc. is hiring for an on-site production role. You will participate in daily production meetings, assist operators, and manage tooling changes and clean-up tasks in the tooling room.

Responsibilities

• Review outgoing DO’s hand-off and handle email correspondence.
• Communicate with Heian Operators and KVAL regarding tool changes/startup issues.
• Generate Hardware pile reports, identify doors to be processed and deliver to DET Outfeed.
• Assist all Heian area operators when necessary.
• Conduct tooling changes/adjustments on all Heian machines.
• Clean tool holder in tooling room.
• Setup bit in tooling room.
• Manage hour-by-hour “white boards” with operators.
• Complete various paperwork, charts, and spreadsheets.
• Assist operators with troubleshooting.
• Complete shut-down activities.
• All other tasks assigned by Department Manager or Department Lead.
