Jet Aviation Staffing seeks an experienced captain to sit in the left seat on a Gulfstream G550 based in Pittsburgh. You will lead a professional crew, make critical safety decisions, and ensure exceptional passenger experiences while adhering to corporate and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring the team, coordinating with dispatch and maintenance, and traveling extensively as missions require. The role requires flexibility in schedule and robust leadership under pressure.

Qualifications

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) — unrestricted or restricted acceptable.
• Current FAA First Class Medical.
• 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine.
• 500 hours turbojet; 500 hours turbine; 100 hours night; 75 hours simulated instrument; 500 hours jet time.

Responsibilities

• Take command of all assigned flights, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all aircraft systems and manage flights with precision.
• Perform TSA Flight Security Coordinator duties as required and brief passengers.
• Champion a culture of safety by reporting hazards and aircraft discrepancies.
• Manage trip documentation and update aircraft manuals in line with procedures.
• Lead and mentor the crew, coordinating with dispatch, maintenance, and client services.
