You will oversee multi-entity configurations, validate journal entries, develop training, and align with Treasury, Tax, and FinTech teams, shaping scalable accounting infrastructure across Amazon's global entities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance or related analytical field
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or a Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) and experience or equivalent experience in finance roles
• MBA or CPA/CFA designation could be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party system implementations for FX and Treasury accounting from requirements through go-live and post-implementation support
• Document accounting requirements with operations, systems teams, and vendors; ensure configurations reflect FX revaluation, monetary account classification, and instruments accounting
• Coordinate user acceptance testing cycles and journal entry mapping reviews to validate system functionality against accounting standards
• Oversee FX accounting across multi-entity structures and support GL governance for consistency across global entities
• Develop and deliver cross-functional training materials to enable accounting teams to use new systems effectively
