Job summary

Amazon is seeking a program leader to drive end-to-end implementations of foreign exchange and Treasury accounting systems, partnering across finance, accounting, and tech teams to deliver scalable, accurate reporting and automation across global operations.

You will manage cross-functional projects, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, and guide testing, mapping, and go-live activities while ensuring ASC 830/815 compliance and robust general ledger governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or a Master's degree (MBA) and experience or equivalent experience in finance roles.
• Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) or Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent
• Experience with Treasury management systems, valuation platforms, or ERP general ledger systems (SAP, Oracle) and multi-entity governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead program delivery for foreign exchange and Treasury accounting system implementations from requirements to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Document accounting requirements and design processes with cross-functional teams to reflect currency revaluation and financial instrument accounting.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and journal entry mapping reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support multi-entity foreign exchange accounting and general ledger governance initiatives across global entities.
• Develop and deliver cross-functional training to enable accounting teams to use new systems and processes.
