Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a senior program manager to lead transformation initiatives in foreign exchange and Treasury accounting. You will drive end-to-end system implementations and coordinate with finance, accounting, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve reporting accuracy and automation across global operations.

The role requires 5+ years in finance or a related analytical field and relevant degrees; PMP certification and ERPs like SAP/Oracle are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or a Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) and experience or equivalent experience in finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead program delivery for third-party system implementations supporting foreign exchange and Treasury accounting, managing end-to-end coordination from requirements definition through go-live and post-implementation support
• Partner with accounting operations, financial systems teams, and external vendors to document accounting requirements, design processes, and ensure system configurations accurately reflect foreign currency revaluation, monetary account classification, and financial instrument accounting treatments
• Coordinate user acceptance testing cycles and journal entry mapping reviews, working with accounting teams to validate that system functionality meets business needs and accounting standards
• Manage foreign exchange accounting considerations across multi-entity structures and support general ledger account governance initiatives to ensure consistency and accuracy across global business entities
• Develop and deliver cross-functional training materials and awareness programs to enable accounting teams to effectively use new systems and processes
