Job summary

A global hedge fund headquartered near Stamford, CT, is seeking an FX Operations Analyst to join the investment operations team. The role focuses on post-trade life cycle support for FX instruments, including reconciliation, processing, and monitoring of trades.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of FX operations experience in a hedge fund environment and familiarity with FX spot, forwards, NDFs, swaps, and exotic options, plus experience with Advent Geneva or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment management, fund operations, or FX operations experience within a hedge fund environment.
• Experience supporting FX Spot, FX Forwards, NDFs, FX Swaps, and/or Exotic Options.
• Strong understanding of the FX trade lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations across a broad range of FX products.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, trade exceptions, and operational discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the capture, validation, and processing of FX trades, ensuring accurate booking and settlement.
• Monitor the full trade lifecycle, including expiries, settlements, rollovers, resets, cash flows, and other lifecycle events.
• Work with Trading, Technology, Operations, Treasury, and counterparties to resolve issues and ensure seamless trade processing.
• Maintain trade records, account data, and reference data to support accurate operational reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting FX operations within a hedge fund environment.

Responsibilities include:
