Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an Operations Associate for its Middle Office Trade Support team to play a central role in the investment process, partnering with Traders, Portfolio Managers, prime brokers and counterparties to support the full trade lifecycle across equity and credit products.

You will gain broad exposure to trade support, corporate actions, reconciliations, settlements, and private market transactions, contributing to the smooth operation of a sophisticated global trading platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hedge fund operations or middle-office experience.
• Experience in trade support, settlements, or fund operations.
• Knowledge of equity products; exposure to credit/derivatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day trade support activities for equity and credit trading across multiple markets, custodians, and prime brokers.
• Manage trade capture, affirmation, and operational control processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Process and monitor corporate actions, including dividends, stock splits, mergers, tender offers, and rights issues.
• Resolve discrepancies with internal teams and external counterparties.

A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking an Operations Associate to join its Middle Office Trade Support team. This role sits at the center of the investment process, partnering directly with Trading, Portfolio Managers, Prime Brokers, and counterparties to support the full trade lifecycle across equity and credit products.

The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to trade support, corporate actions, reconciliations, settlements, and private market transactions while helping ensure the smooth operation of a sophisticated global trading platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day trade support activities for equity and credit trading across multiple markets, custodians, and prime brokers.
• Manage trade capture, affirmation, and operational control processes to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Process and monitor corporate actions, including dividends, stock splits, mergers, tender offers, and rights issues.
• discrepancies with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Maintain and enhance trade flow procedures, commission schedules, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience within hedge fund operations, middle office, trade support, fund operations, or investment management operations.
• Prior experience at a hedge fund, asset manager, prime broker, or similar financial institution preferred.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and investment operations workflows.
• Experience supporting equity products, with additional exposure to credit, fixed income, derivatives, or multi-asset strategies considered a plus.
• Experience with OMS/PMS platforms such as Bloomberg AIM, FLEX, or similar systems is preferred.
