Job summary

A global hedge fund based in Stamford, CT is seeking an FX Operations Analyst to join their investment operations team.

The role focuses on post-trade life cycle for FX instruments, including reconciliations, trade capture, settlement, and monitoring across a diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in FX operations within a hedge fund and experience with FX spots, forwards, NDFs, swaps, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment management, fund operations, or FX operations within a hedge fund.

• Proficient in reconciliation and error resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations across FX products.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and operational discrepancies.
• Support capture, validation, and processing of FX trades for accurate booking.
• Monitor trade lifecycle events including expiries, settlements, and rollovers.
• Collaborate with Trading, Technology, Operations, Treasury, and counterparties to resolve issues.
• Maintain trade records and reference data for reporting.

Job description

Our client, a global hedge fund based out of Stamford, CT, is seeking an FX Operations Analyst to join their investment operations team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the post-trade lifecycle for foreign exchange products, ensuring the timely reconciliation, processing, and monitoring of trades across a diverse portfolio of FX instruments. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting FX operations within a hedge fund environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations across a broad range of FX products.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, trade exceptions, and operational discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support the capture, validation, and processing of FX trades, ensuring accurate booking and settlement.
• Monitor the full trade lifecycle, including expiries, settlements, rollovers, resets, cash flows, and other lifecycle events.
• Work closely with Trading, Technology, Operations, Treasury, and counterparties to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless trade processing.
• Maintain trade records, account data, and reference data to support accurate operational reporting.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of investment management, fund operations, or FX operations experience within a hedge fund environment
• Experience supporting FX Spot, FX Forwards, Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs), FX Swaps, and/or Exotic Options.
• Strong understanding of the FX trade lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing.
• Experience with Advent Geneva, or similar investment management and trade processing platform
