Job summary

Pacific University is seeking a part-time FWS Board Operator for THEA-34601; duties include lighting, sound, and projection support for the current musical and fall production in Warner Hall. Training on ETC EOS and Q-Lab software will be provided.

Position is open to current Pacific University students with FWS eligibility, offering class credits and hands-on theatre tech experience in a live stage environment on the Forest Grove campus.

THEA-34601 (Board Operator)

Theatre Arts – Warner Hall, Tom Miles Theatre

When: Lights/Projections/Sound will begin February 20th and will continue on a 9am-5pm Weekday schedule through September 14th for the Current Musical Production of ALICE BY HEART and the Fall CHOREOGRAPHERS SHOW on the Tom Miles Theatre Stage.

Purpose of Position: Assist in the technical requirements of current Theatre and Dance Productions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Hanging, Aiming, and Focusing Lighting Instruments / Learning ETC EOS Light Board to program Lighting Cues for Production
• Connecting Sound System / Learning Sound Cue Programming in Q-Lab Software
• Positioning Projectors for video element requirements for Production/Light and SOund Board Operation
