Job summary

State of North Carolina, Department of Administration, is seeking a Program Coordinator I to oversee FVPSA funding streams, ensure compliance, and support grant administration within the Division for Women and Youth. This role emphasizes accountability, fiscal management, and accurate reporting across multiple subgrantees.

The position includes monitoring reimbursable costs, coordinating with shelters and prevention programs, and maintaining timely financial reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Competency in violence prevention and promising practices to address needs of victims of domestic violence and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to record, compile, and analyze data with responsibility for content review, accuracy, integrity, and quality.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of financial management and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Understand FVPSA funding sources and manage allowable costs; build relationships with subgrantees and review reimbursements.
• Prepare and submit performance reporting and applications for new funding; provide technical assistance and site visits.
• Establish timely reconciliation procedures to ensure all grants financial activity is completed; perform other duties as assigned.
