Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Manager-In-Training in Missouri to oversee daily store operations, under supervision of the Store Manager, and to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. You will participate in hands-on training and progress toward Store Manager responsibilities.

This full-time role includes a 90-day performance-based raise, referral bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, with growth opportunities as you develop leadership and coaching skills within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory/lead/assistant management experience in retail or fast food.
• Ability to coach, train and develop team for advancement.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Valid, infraction-free Driver's License required.
• Effective English communication, verbally and written.
• Authorization to work in the United States must be shown if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts including overnights and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for at least 8 hours.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds and push/pull up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable in small spaces at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and supervise daily store operations.
• Maintain a pleasant, courteous environment for customers and team members.
• Receive on-the-job training from Store Manager and District Manager.
• Transition into Store Manager role after completing the MIT program.
