Job summary

New Creations Child Care & Learning Center in Lakeville, MN is seeking a Director-in-Training to grow into a Site Director role. You’ll receive hands-on training under experienced Site Directors with mentorship, curriculum support, and leadership development.

Responsibilities include leading classroom teams, ensuring licensing compliance, and building strong relationships with families while learning scheduling, payroll, enrollment, and overall center operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have an Associates Degree in a related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Teacher qualification under DCYF Rule 3 Standards; official transcripts required.
• Two to three years Lead Teacher or leadership experience desired.
• DCYF background checks and fingerprints to verify suitability.
• First Aid & CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• DCYF training to be completed on day 1 during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to support our team and modeling our values.
• Assist with staff onboarding, scheduling, and professional development.
• Ensure classrooms meet licensing requirements and maintain compliance.
• Coordinate enrollment growth and family retention efforts.
• Support payroll, tuition, and other administrative duties as needed.
• Provide tours for prospective families and uphold our Red Carpet Service philosophy.
