New Creations Child Care & Learning Center Llc is seeking an experienced Leadership Development Director to shape the Director in Training program and mentor site leaders. This role focuses on onboarding, ongoing leadership development, and ensuring readiness for permanent site leadership.

The candidate will collaborate with corporate teams, conduct assessments, and guide transitions during vacancies, applying strong organizational and project-management skills in a childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a HS diploma or GED; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years teaching young children; 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Teacher qualification under DCYF; background check and fingerprinting required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of employment; DCYF training completed.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and development for Directors-in-Training and new Site Leaders.
• Provide ongoing professional development for Site Directors and Assistant Directors.
• Conduct regular leadership assessments and accountability checks.
• Place DITs in centers with best chances of success; support interim leadership.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to maintain consistent leadership standards.
