Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems in the United States is seeking Linguists (MDLAs) to analyze foreign language materials within NSA SIGINT. Candidates may be routed to the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic mission offices, with tours across offices to build core competencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields
• Experience in intelligence analysis, international relations, security studies, journalism, law, STEM, or cybersecurity
• For Full Performance and Senior levels, leadership experience is required
• Resume must populate all sections of the resume tool with all relevant skills and education

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials within the SIGINT mission
• Perform translation, transcription, and reporting of language products
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the Intelligence Community
• Possibly participate in LADP or direct-hire paths depending on skill and mission needs
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities for higher levels when appropriate
